Embossed Butterflies and Sketched Card

Iv'e been busy making Embossed Butterflies - these were all embossed with Pearl Embossing Powder on black cardstock. I added Flower Stamens for the antennae - perfect just folded in half and stuck on the back.  I then added beads stuck on with 3D Gloss for the body of each Butterfly.

The powders look great on dark -coloured cardstock.
You can use these  Butterflies on cards, scrapbook pages, hair slides, on straws to add that something special to a children's party etc.

Iv'e also been sketching again and watch this space for the next FREE Digi-Stamp to come in the next few days.

I created this card when I was sketching out my own range of stamps.  Instead if making a stamp with the images, I thought I would use the whole image on a card and colour it in after copying it with my printer.

My next set of stamps are still in the drawing stage so it will be a while before I manage to get them into production.  I may sell them individually this time as each image can be mixed and matched to create a scene or just a single theme for a card.  I love to create as you all know and like to think outside the box to make something original and new that other people can copy and get some kind of benefit from for themselves. I love to see what people make from my stamps as we all create in different ways and have different ideas to show off our talents. Happy crafting everyone.

The next FREE Digi -Stamp will be on here soon so please take a look now and again so that you don't miss it.  See you soon.

Necklace and Earring Set made for my DoCrafts Jewellery Demo

Hi all

Iv'e been busy making jewellery for my next DoCrafts Demo on Saturday 18th August at The Art Shop in Kelly Bray, Callington.

When designing crafty items, I like to think outside the box and come up with something original and different.  I also get wonderful inspiration from other DoCrafts Designers who kindly share their ideas (take a look on the Demonstrator Galleries on the DoCrafts website for inspiration).  http://www.docrafts.com

Other Designers -  Nikki Smith for instance always  give me inspiration, especially when I have a crafting block, which we all do at some stage.

I love making all sorts of jewellery items and using the beads to create all kinds of crafty items, not just,  necklaces, bracelets and earrings but also for embellishing flowers, using beads to create backgrounds etc., More to come so watch this space......

Beads can be used for single strand necklaces or multi-strand necklaces as you see here on the left. I plaited each single strand, one chain (with ribbon threaded through), one seed bead and pearl strand and one larger pearl strand to form this necklace.  Hope you like it. The earrings were made using beads threaded onto Headpins. More to come on the jewellery front in the very near future.
