TV Samples for Imagination Crafts

IMAGINATION CRAFTS CARD SAMPLES - February 26th at 1p.m on CREATE & CRAFT.

Well Iv'e been busy again making samples for Create and Craft shows.  You never know which ones they will decide to use when you make samples for the T.V. - Sometimes its all of them, sometimes a few and it depends on what they focus on or sell out of when the show is on air.

Iv'e put just a few on here for you to see -Using Sparkle Medium with Dies brings a whole new Dimension (literally) to your crafting and opens us a world of possibilities.

This canvas is something I'll be focusing on when I do my mid-month tutorial on the IMAGINATION CRAFTS BLOG.  I'll be showing how to create the backgrounds for canvasses and cards with very simple techniques.  Watch this space on 15th March for the tutorial.....I'll also be showing you how to use your Stencils with clay to create embellishments like the one on the box.

A few more samples for you.......

Busy making samples again for TV shows

Hi all

Here's a sneaky peak of just one of the samples Iv'e made for another TV show coming up soon from Imagination Crafts. Sparkle Medium is so adaptable - for this piece I brayered Sparkle Medium onto cardstock then Die-Cut the shapes.

Sparkle Medium die-cuts really well so I decided to go through my stash and see what I could cut to add to cards and canvasses too. This sneaky peek will become apparent (hopefully) when you watch Imagination Crafts next show on Create and Craft, scheduled at the moment for Wednesday 26th at 1pm.

Inspiration Project for Imagination Crafts

Hi again,

For February's Imagination Crafts "INSPIRATION" post Iv'e made some tags using inks, stamps, stencils and Sparkle Medium.

I love the grungy, vintage look so decided to go all out to make these using most of my Imagination craft stash.  I just kept adding inks of various colours to the tags. I then embossed the stamped image (Bird of Paradise) on each tag with Black Embossing powder.  Then using the stencil - "Heart Leaf", I dabbed a Clear Embossing Pad through the stencil and brushed on some Imagination Craft Mica powders. Sparkle Medium was also added, spread through the "Heart Leaf" stencil again to complete each tag and to add some bling.

Something a bit different and useful at the same time. These would look great if you stamped your own wrapping paper with the Bird of Paradise Stamp in all the colours that you used on the tag to match the parcel to the greeting.

If you would like to join in with the Imagination Crafts Challenge - click the Imagination Crafts logo on  the right side of my blog - you could win lots of lovely goodies. "Love is in the Air" at Imagination Crafts

Hi

Here's my project for the February Challenge at Imagination Crafts. I decided to make something a bit different again using Sparkle Medium on Felt.

Firstly I cut out some heart shapes with felt, one in yellow and one in red (at the back)  then added Bright Red Sparkle Medium to the yellow felt using the Heart Leaf Stencil and Gold Shine onto the red felt. This was then left to dry out.

Once dry I sewed the seams together with red cotton leaving a gap on the top right hand side (for the arrow to come out)
I covered a skewer with red craft tape and made a hole in the centre of the yellow felt, threaded the skewer through and out at the top right. I then added some cardboard cut-outs of the arrow-head and quill at the back. These were drawn free hand and painted with Gold Mica powders.

Before closing the top right seam I stuffed the heart with a little capoc filling to pad it out a bit and added a ribbon to hand up the piece.

I used a "Love" wire embellishment for the front which was sewn onto red felt and added to the front of the heart. I then covered two flowers from the MDF Lantern set with both  Gold and Red Sparkle Medium and Gold Mica powders and added these to the front to finish. Adhesive Gems were added to the arrow at the toop and bottom to give it a bit of bling
.
Have a go with putting sparkle medium onto felt. It adheres really well and dries really quickly. You can then make all sorts of things for your house and home.
