Daisy Decoupage Stamp.

More cards for you using Imagination Crafts products. This card was made with the Imagination Craft Daisy Decoupage stamp on Vellum. All of the Decoupage stamps are lovely and are very versatile to use for card-making, scrap-booking or home projects.

The Daisies were first stamped onto Vellum with Silkies then embossed with an embossing tool to add depth. I decoupaged three large daisies then added more to the sides and top for effect. 

Another idea to use this Decoupage stamp but this time using inks.

IMAGINATION CRAFTS SHOWS on CREATE AND CRAFT

Well, what FANTASTIC shows over the weekend. How Sue kept it together working with Eric, sorry - Dean I don't know. He's not a presenter he's a very naughty boy. Lol.

Lisa did a brilliant job demoing the lovely products - the samples were fabulous and I loved the MDF samples in particular. Lots of inspiration and ideas for the future. I can't wait now to get out some canvasses, bags, boxes, and furniture to use with Sparkle Medium and Silkies.  I love these paints - so versatile and colourful.

Looking forward to more shows very soon I hope.

Create and Craft TV - Imagination Crafts Samples

Hello again - Iv'e been busy all week making more samples for Create and Craft on behalf of Imagination Crafts.  Sue will be on TV on Saturday starting at 9a.m. and on Sunday too. 6 shows in all so the Designers have all been busy creating various project for you all to see. Here are a few of mine.

Iv'e been playing with the new Silkies - they are so versatile and the finish is absolutely amazing.  On flowers if you bend the petals the light catches and give a depth of metallic colour which Iv'e not seen on any other paints before and Iv'e been painting for quite a while now.

I need to order some more Silkies in blue as I can already imagine a lovely moonscape picture which is bursting to get out of my head and onto canvas. Keep watching the blog for more news....

My Create and Craft TV Samples

"IMAGINATION CRAFTS" on CREATE AND CRAFT - Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May

Iv'e been busy again making samples for the IMAGINATION CRAFTS show on Create and Craft again. Sue will be demonstrating lots of new techniques using Sparkle Medium and the lovely new "Silkies".

I love Silkies - they are so rich and vibrant and they catch the light in a way that Iv'e never seen with any other paint before.

"WINGS & THINGS" - Imagination Crafts

Here's my Inspiration Post for Imagination Crafts - I painted a heart with Pink Mica powders and White Acrylic paints. I then threaded a cord through to create a hanging and made a tassle for the end. 

The Butterflies were made using a stencil and Black Stars and Silver Sparkle Medium which I spread onto Acetate and when dry, cut them out.

I added an embellishment to the side of the Heart, stuck on some air-dried clay flowers that I made in a mould then painted with Acrylic paints and Micas.  I then cut out all the stenciled Butterflies and added them to the piece with a glue gun. I then added two Butterflies to the top to finish.

HOME MADE CERAMIC EMBELLISHMENTS

Home-made Ceramic Embellishments can be used for all sorts of crafts from card-making to household projects. Ideal for fixing to picture frames for instance.

These are some Iv'e made in the past few days - Iv'e also used a baking leaf punch for this white flower.

This flower was painted using an air brush - so easy to use and I can't wait to get out my colours and start colouring background papers etc.,

"Wings and Things" - Imagination Crafts May

IMAGINATION CRAFTS - May project

For this month's project "Wings and things" Iv'e made this little jewellery box.

Firstly I painted the box then added stencilled Butterflies onto the sides.  I also stencilled Butterflies onto acetate then when dry, cut out the shapes leaving a small tab at the bottom to stick onto the top of the box.

I added sticky crochet tape to the top and bottom sides of the box and hey presto - all done. A very simple but effective little box to make.
