Silkies on Calico
Hi all
Here's my Inspiration post for 15th January for Imagination crafts. Iv'e used Silkies on Calico and to colour the clay embellishment at the bottom.
Firstly I stenciled Silkies through the Imagination Crafts Honeycomb stencil onto purple paper and used this for the background.
These Silkies are very versatile and seem to work with any other medium. They come in such lovely colours too. They always hold their shine when you use them for stencilling, painting, covering clay and more..
I used a variety of colours for this project. I placed the stencil onto Calico and stenciled the colours through with a stiff stencil brush. I then made a fringe around the edge and inked it with an ink pad.
The clay embellishment was made by pressing clay onto a stamp then peeling off. Once dry I rubbed Silkies over the top with my finger touching all the raised parts of the picture.
I look forward to making more craft projects with these lovely paints.
