Gelli plate video tutorial plus alternatives to use

Hi all

I have a new video for you today - using my new Gelli plate.  Iv'e had great fun playing with this new crafty item and can't wait to try out even more new techniques.

These new plates are quite expensive. Mine is a 6" x 6" plate which is quite adequate for what I needed but you can get larger ones if you wish.  Iv'e given you a few alternatives that you may be able to use if you don't want to buy a plate that will give you similar effects. Watch thru' to the end for the alternatives that you can use.

More videos to come in the near future, meanwhile, enjoy the video and let me know what you think by leaving a comment. Happy crafting.

  3. Thank you for the tutorial, I had to watch it on YouTube in the end! I had considered buying a Gelli plate, but they are quite expensive and then I wonder how often or long I'd use it for? Like many crafters I'm quite fickle, so I was thrilled to bits with your alternative! I have a spare silicone mat from my die cutting machine, so I'm gonna give it a try, thank you xx

  4. Oh Christine, it was lovely to hear you voice, sweet accent:):).. Fantastic video, I got some funky foam last time I was in England and have't used it, but I will now. My DS and I used to use a pane of glass to put color on our pages. Using the negative and positive makes it a whole new ball game. I too love to use everything up:):), Thanks a bunch, your a doll for sharing all of it. Hope you have a great week.. Big hugs from Canada....
