My Craft Style

MY CRAFT STYLE

Well, where do I begin.... I don't really have a style - I love all sorts of styles from Shabby Chic, Retro, Vintage, Soft and Feminine - you name it - I like it.

I use a lot of my crafting knowledge and skill (if you can call it that) to make things for my house, paint pictures, make 3D objects - make cards -  the list goes on.  I am into recycling too so like to use things like recycled bottles and silk and vegetable fibres to create something a bit unusual.
I started by painting a long time ago and still paint today but use my painting techniques for my card-making and stamp designs.
This picture was painted in oils and taken from an ideas from an old Christmas Card I had . It's is rather an old fashioned image but one which I can copy and put onto my own  Christmas Cards.

I also make my own Silk Fibre creations as well as making Silk Paper which I use to decorate all sorts of items.

The journal you see here was made by covering a small book with my own Silk handmade paper and I have added some Friendly Plastic embellishments.  I love Friendly Plastic as it's so versatile and you can make all sorts of things with it from jewellery to pictures.

Being a DoCrafts Designer, I am lucky enough to be abe to design my own range of cards using all the lovely products.
I also design my own stamps and simply love Landscapes of all kinds.
I have made my own range of stamps and Digi-stamps (more Free Digi-stamps coming to this blog soon.)  which can be seen on my website .

For this card Iv'e used one of my own designs of stamps and used Embossing Powders to create a moonlight scene.  Iv'e added embossing powder to the foreground to create the look of snow and embossed the moon with pearlescent powders to make it look like it's shining.

No actual style as such, just lots of experimenting and playing with crafts and products really.
